Rich Daniels has been creating, curating, and conducting music since he was a high school freshman. He was the musical director for the hit Fox show “Empire”, and has been involved with the music for many more shows including “Boss”, “Chicago Med”, “Betrayal”, “Lovecraft Country”, “Fargo”, “Lightyears”, “4400”, “Proven Innocent”, “Ordinary Joe”, and “The Big Leap”.

Rich is the founder of the City Lights Orchestra, and with that group has performed with some of the biggest names in the music world. He has traveled the country conducting “Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration” featuring vocalist/guitarist Warren Haynes. He has helped to create several PBS specials including “Chicago Voices” with Renée Fleming, and “I AM IRELAND”.

 

Rich is an active board member with several nonprofits, and serves the Chicago Federation of Musicians and the Chicago Federation of Labor.
